Robert W. Ervin joined the firm in 2009 as an associate attorney specializing in probate and guardianship law.
Mr. Ervin graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 2005 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year. Mr. Ervin received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin in 2001. Prior to law school, Mr. Ervin was a political consultant for H.M. Lange Consulting, Inc.
Mr. Ervin is also a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, an honor bestowed only upon lawyers committed to the highest levels of ethics and continued legal education.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ervin worked for Daniel J. Hoffman & Associates and Benson & Anderson, LLP.
Legal Practice Areas
Mr. Ervin brings to the firm an expertise in drafting of wills and trusts, and representation of individuals in will contests and other probate proceedings. In addition, Mr. Ervin is frequently appointed by the courts as an attorney ad litem in guardianship proceedings, providing him with a unique perspective and skill set for this growing area of the law.
Mr. Ervin's skills and accomplishments were further recognized by his peers by his election as Vice President of the Disability and Elder Law Attorneys Association for 2009-2010.
